    The TOS Healing Network is a free service that practitioners provide to contribute to the positive energy of an individual. This helps the healee’s body find its own balance which leads to healing. Recipients of healing have reported feeling calmer as well as having a more positive outlook. Patients who have been recipients of energetic healing have reported fewer complications during surgery and a decreased recovery time afterwards.

Denver TOS Christmas Project

Denver TS/TOS members showed some love to the cats and kittens cared for at an extraordinary local shelter, the Cat Care Society.  Founded in the 1980's by a veterinarian, the Cat Care Society takes in all cats, no matter how old or sick they may be.  None are turned away, and none are kept in cages.  Cats roam free in large rooms, some of which offer adjacent outdoor enclosures called "catios."  Members donated cat food, a bed, toys, treats, litter, cash, and a pheromone diffuser which helps to calm cats and promote serenity in situations such as shelter life which can be stressful for man

Continuing Aid to American Indian Reservations

The Theosophical Order of Service (USA) has been working to improve living conditions on the Reservations for quite some time.  We have provided varying amounts of aid to the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota and the Hualapai in northern Arizona.  Recently we have added the San Carlos Apache Reservation in Eastern Arizona.  We should be able to do more for San Carlos than for the others, because it is closer for us. Christmas for Haiti

This year, some members of the NY Theosophical Society in NYC have begun collecting items to send to Haiti to help the poor in that country.  A friend of our Lodge goes to Haiti every December, bringing whatever she can to help alleviate the suffering and try to bring a little joy in the lives of the people there.  We have begun collecting toiletries, gently used summer clothing, home supplies and school supplies.  We are hoping to find other contacts to expand this project.
