“Earth Day: Honoring Our Native Lands” with Billie Tope Tate’

Join us as we explore the sacredness of nature and give thanks to our Mother Earth with teacher and healer Billie Tope Tate’. Billie Topa Tate' is the founder of MSI Wellness Center in Evanston, IL. She is Mescalero Apache and is dedicated to "Creating a Sacred Place One Person at a Time" through the indigenous native teachings of her teachers. Topa Tate’ has lectured and taught at Northwestern University, The Cancer Treatment Center of America, and more. Her work has been published by several magazines, and she is the author of several meditation recordings as well as several recently published books. She is dedicated to being of service to anyone who is seeking wellness, mindfulness training, and spiritual growth.
This program will be the first of a series of free webinar programs on the sacred unity we have with nature.
Part II of this interactive series will be on May 1 at 11 am CDT and will focus on the original Native lands we live on and the teachings from the book Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer.
Part III will conclude this interactive series on June 12 at 11 am CDT as we discuss the extraordinary life of trees based on the work of Peter Wohlleben, author of The Hidden Life of Trees.
