TOS Action Group Wheaton - Silent Auction

General Topics:

The Theosophical Order of Service will be holding its third annual Silent Auction at Theosofest on September 11, 2010 at the Theosophical Society in Wheaton, IL. All proceeds from the auction go to benefit the homeless at the various local shelters that the TOS Action Group has been serving.
As part of our Silent Auction, two handmade donations, which are valued at over $200.00 are raffled off at the end of the day and this year is no different.

Our warm gratitude goes to Ben Furman and Pam King for their generosity.

Auction Item Descriptions:

Bench Description:

This meditation bench is made of solid oak wood and is normally priced for $120.00. It is perfect for those who cannot sit on the floor. The oversize legs provide extra stability without cutting off the leg circulation. Bench donated by Ben Furman, owner and creator of Metta Woodworks, www.mettawoodwork.com

Quilt Description (photo below):
This beautiful handmade quilt is 75” X 94” and was generously donated by Pam King. The color and geometric designs make this quilt almost too beautiful to use on a cold night and better as a wall hanging displayed for everyone to admire. This quilt would easily be valued at $250.00 or more.
