This edition will be brief, as I just wanted to get a note out about a unique and meaningful way to serve the residents of Newtown, Connecticut. A trauma team is being assembled this week to work in Newtown, and is being headed up by a dear friend of mine, Lori Leyden, Ph.D. Lori is well qualified for this task, having worked since 2007 with orphaned survivors of the 1994 Rwanda genocide. You may recall that the August issue of this newsletter featured an article about her work. Lori and her team will be working with traumatized families and residents to teach energy psychology techniques they can use now and through the years to help process grief, fear, and trauma.
